Aftercare
After your tattoo appointment I will inform you about your new tattoo and its aftercare.
The healing phase varies depending on the care, skin type and body part.
For the best possible healing, the following points must be observed:
-
After tattooing, do not perform intensive activities.
-
Remove the foil after three hours, if you have a second skin ( self-adhesive ) on your fresh tattoo, you can leave it on the skin for 2 to 4 days.
-
Clean the tattoo with clear water and pH neutral soap soak a clean washcloth with hot water and press it on the fresh tattoo for about 20 seconds, let the wound dry or dab it dry carefully afterwards then apply a thin layer of tattoo ointment
-
Shower only very briefly during the first seven days and do not scrub!
-
Apply a thin layer of healing ointment to your tattoo and massage it in 3 times a day during the first week to protect the skin from drying out in the second and third week apply healing ointment 1 - 2 times a day do not do any sports for at least one week
During the healing phase, the following should generally be observed
-
Do not stretch a tattooed area excessively, be careful with sports and other physical activities
-
Avoid taking long showers and bathing/swimming during the first three weeks
-
Avoid contact with dirt and oil
-
Itching is part of the healing process, do not scratch! Otherwise color pigments could be uprooted
-
Avoid solarium and direct sunlight for four to six weeks
-
Use only a sunblock 30+ on the tattooed area for three months, not during the three-week healing process!
-
Little stress and physical strain, plenty of sleep and a healthy diet support the body's wound healing powers
Swelling and bruising may occur during the first few days. These are residuals due to injury and are nothing to worry about.
After about three to six weeks, you can send me good photos of your healed tattoo to vanessa@hous-studios.com and it will be decided if retouching is necessary.
Prices
The price of a tattoo depends on the size, the individual amount of work for the tattoo and the motif design / motif development, the placement and the condition of the skin.
I am very happy to take over the development of an individual motif for you.
There are no tattoos off the bar. Each tattoo that leaves our studio is unique.
If the above factors are fixed, the price can be defined to 90%. There will always be only a small difference in price up or down. The more accurate your details, ideas or motifs are, the more accurately we can estimate the price.
The basic price for a tattoo is $200. We have set this basic price because for each tattoo appointment we have a certain and material basic expenses for setup and dismantling, as well as cleaning the place, sterilization of instruments and consultation. In the case of a tattoo appointment, a deposit between $50 - $200 is required (depending on the final price).
